The CPYC Regatta to benefit Make-A-Wish has been a beacon of spirited competition and charitable impact, and this year marks the 30th edition of our esteemed event. Anticipate a thrilling Pursuit Race and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children facing critical illnesses.
The Pursuit Race will follow the rules defined by US Sailing and MBSA. Open to all ORR-ez, one design and cruising boats. If you do not have an ORR-ez rating certificate, the Race Committee will assign one. Divisions include Spinnaker and JAM, subject to change based on entries.
All vessels meet near Yellow Nun “E”, 1.15 miles west of Deer Island Light by 11:30 AM. Assigned start times, based on GPS time, available on www.regattaman.com. Boats must keep clear of the course side of the starting line.
Time Limit: Race concludes by 4:00 PM. Retirements should notify RC on Channel 72.
